Three a day?!? THIRTEEN!!!!! That is all kinds of crazy. It's funny, I was wondering how many a day you'd have to do to keep up an inventory. I suppose after the first couple, you'd cook right along, but I am impressed!

3 a day sounds like a lot... this is the worsted weight hat, no? Or the DK weight one? I'm not a fast crocheter, but it took me a few days to get one done, but I guess I could do one in a couple of hours if I set my mind to it... 'cept I'm just used to knitting, and IS it possible to crochet without looking at what you're doing? I can do that with knitting...

Ive seen people crochet without looking but I cant. I usually listen to music or books on tape while I work.

definitely, the more you make the faster you get! someday I will sit down and calculate how many hats like these Ive made...

I'd love to know how long it takes you to make one hat from start to finish... be sure to mention which weight of yarn because I know you end up with more stitches on a DK weight hat than you do with worsted or even chunky or bulky weight! :)

re: looking/not looking: I can knit without looking if the pattern's simple enough (or I'm used to it), but there's only one strand to deal with if you're not decreasing...but I can see how it's better to look while crocheting..LOL

Cheers,

Jessica
